The Maryland GoVAX COVID-19 Vaccination Support Center is now available to make COVID-19 vaccine appointments and information easily available for Marylanders without internet access. The support center can be reached 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 855-MDGOVAX (855-634-6829).

Callers who wish to speak to a Support Advocate are then presented with a menu with options to:

  • Determine vaccination eligibility
  • Locate a COVID-19 testing site (using a 5-digit ZIP code)
  • Schedule first and second dose vaccine appointments at a mass vaccination site and receive confirmation for the appointments
  • Get help finding a vaccination provider closest to you
  • Discover information on the COVID-19 vaccine
  • Ask general questions about COVID-19

Live Support Advocates are available to callers using both voice and text services at any time. Support Advocates are available in English and Spanish. For more information, click here.

Marylanders who have access to the internet, can visit and connect by chatbot or instant-message with an advocate. Internet users can also visit to find the closest vaccination site.

COVID-19 Testing Information

If you may have been exposed to COVID-19 but you are not showing any symptoms, we recommend the following testing options:

You may schedule an appointment directly without a physician referral at the Baltimore Convention Center, Columbia VEIP, Pimlico Race Course, Six Flag America, and Waldorf VEIP.

Go to MedStar Health eVisit, identify yourself as a MedStar Family Choice member and request a physician order for COVID-19 testing. The Evisit provider will then help you schedule a test at a Maryland VEIP location using the information on your physician order. If a VEIP location is not convenient, MedStar eVisit will help find a location that works for you.

If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 and wish to be tested, please contact your PCP for testing options. You may also go to MedStar eVisit or to an urgent care location for diagnosis and/or testing.
