COVID-19 Vaccine and Testing Information

Vaccine Distribution and Eligibility

DC has implemented its vaccination distribution plan and MedStar Family Choice-DC (MFC-DC) will follow this plan and the guidance of the District government leading this effort.

DC residents should register for a vaccine appointment at Coronavirus.DC.gov/Vaccine. You can also register to receive email alerts at this website so you will know when appointments are available and/or when you are eligible. You can call 855-363-0333 to register as well. Since you live in DC, you will receive your vaccine in DC.

Vaccine safety

COVID-19 vaccines are a positive turning point in this public health crisis that has impacted us all. The U.S. vaccine safety system ensures that all vaccines are as safe as possible. Safety is a top priority while federal partners work to make COVID-19 vaccines available. To learn more visit CDC.gov/Coronavirus/Vaccines.

Transportation to COVID-19 vaccination appointments

MFC-DC will provide enrollee transportation to and from vaccination appointments at no cost to you. This is a covered benefit for both DC Healthy Families and DC Healthcare Alliance. To schedule transportation, call 866-201-9974.

COVID-19 testing sites

If you need a test and your provider is unable to give you a test, please come to one of DC’s walk-up or drive-thru sites. To see the full list of DC  test sites visit Coronavirus.DC.gov/Testing.
